The Racquetball season opened this weekend with a Doubles Shootout on Friday 9/25 followed the next day with a Singles Shootout. Both were well attended with a total of 65 players, some of which played both days. Although the majority of players were from the NAC 5 New Hampshire clubs were represented at the event which had players from NH, MA, VT and RI. Doubles had 3 divisions; Open/A, B/C and Women's B/C. Sean Klingaman & Teri LaBrie took the top division while Steve Mirlocca & John Schniedler dominated the B/C division. Donna McNulty & Cat Figuero top the Women's divison of 10 players.
Saturday Singles had 4 division with B1 & B2 divisions playing in the morning and Open & Women's B/C in the afternoon. All divisions had 9 players each and the format was a round robin so players got to play all other players in a single game to 11 points. Lynne Lagasse, Jim Lovenstein and Ron Mariero won the Women's B/C, B1 and B2 divisions respectively by best all of their opponents. Jon Dyer, Co-director of the event, won the very competetive Open division. Congratulations to all.
